Greatest Running Back Of All Time- Walter Payton

The greatest running back of all time in my eyes is Walter Payton. Walter Payton was the first round pick of the 1975 NFL draft. Walter quickly established himself as a superstar within his first season as a professional football player. Walter Payton was also known as "Sweetness" because of his smooth running and how easy he made it look and also because of his attitude off the field. Walter retired as an all-time leader in rushing, combined net yards. In his entire career he had a total of 16,726 yards, 110 TD's rushing, 492 receptions for 4,538 yards; 21,803 combined net yards, and a total of 125 receiving touchdowns. Walter also went  All-Pro seven times and  played in nine pro bowls and had 77 games over 100 yards rushing.
Born July 25,1954, in Columbia, Mississippi and he died November 1, 1999, at age of 45.
